This Old Man Emu kit matches the suspension to the classic coil-sprung Defender 110 with a front bar and rear loads under 300 kg, giving you an approximately 30-40 mm lift and a matched spring-and-shock package for road journeys and rough tracks.

The front and rear springs support the specified accessory and rear load, while the matched shock absorbers control suspension movement over bumps and uneven ground. That makes the upgrade useful on the way to your destination as well as once you leave the road.
This version is for a front bar and a rear load under 300 kg. Think about the equipment you carry regularly, including tools, drawers and camping kit. Matching the springs to that weight is more useful than choosing a heavier load rating for equipment you rarely take. The load band is a suspension selection, not an increase to the vehicle's legal payload.
The kit includes a pair of front coil springs, two front shock absorbers, a pair of rear coil springs and two rear shock absorbers. The upper shock mount kit and two coil-seat packers are also included, giving your installer the listed components for this suspension package.
The approximately 30-40 mm lift depends on the vehicle's existing condition and actual load. We recommend professional fitting, followed by checks of alignment, suspension travel, brake-line clearance and the rest of the vehicle's setup. This is the classic coil-sprung Defender 110 application, distinct from the newer Defender platform.
