The fuel tank on a Defender 110 sits low under the rear of the truck, exactly where sleepers, rock steps and deep ruts reach first. One bad line on a lane can turn into a holed tank, a recovery and a diesel-soaked afternoon. This Almont plate puts 6mm of EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin between the ground and the tank, so the scrape or strike lands on the plate instead. It is the SportDuty build, weighs 8.2 kg, and is cut for the Defender 110.

No. Almont states its fuel tank plates cannot be fitted once the original tank has been replaced with a larger-capacity one. This plate suits the standard 110 tank.
Almont recommends a pressure wash once a year, or two to three washes a year after salty or very muddy ground, plus an annual check of bolt tightness.
