Load seven people into a Commander and its underside runs lower everywhere, especially over the crests and ruts of a loaded touring route. What hangs in that firing line is the gearbox and transfer case. This Almont plate covers the Commander's transmission run with 14.7 kg of 8mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, so the loaded truck can drag its centre line across bad ground and keep every gear it left home with.
