A loaded Daily 4x4 expedition truck pushes several tonnes over rock steps, and the front underside is the first thing to meet them. This Almont front skid plate for the Iveco Daily 55.18 Truck/Bus 4x4, 2022 onwards, is the 8mm HeavyDuty version in certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, the thickness Almont recommends for heavy vehicles and sustained overland travel through desert and rock. At 14.5 kg it bolts to the original chassis mounts with the supplied steel brackets and takes the strikes, scrapes and drag contact that would otherwise reach the truck. A 3-year warranty against cracking backs the plate itself.
Add the Daily 55.18 transmission skid plate, which needs this plate in place, and the AdBlue tank plate to close the gaps.
