Developed with Stabilus, the system combines a damper that controls the tailgate as it lowers with a gas-assisted mechanism that helps as you raise it. You get the benefit at both ends of the movement: less effort to close it and a more controlled descent when you open it.
It is a useful convenience for work gear, shopping and camping equipment, especially when you return to the tailgate several times during the day.
This kit is for the Isuzu D-Max Mk6 Double Cab, 2021 onwards. Use the vehicle-specific components and instructions for this version; kits for different pickups are separate products.
