Keep your gear covered and your D-Max looking the part
Your D-Max can carry plenty, but an open tub leaves everyday equipment on show and exposed to the weather. The ARB Premium HardLid gives it a rigid, lockable aluminium cover, with a useful load-carrying surface above. The rails, locking system and interior light make this the more fully equipped HardLid package.

The four-bar hinge moves the lid up and back as it opens, giving clearance away from the cab. Gas struts support it while you load, and the interior light helps you find your equipment when you finish work late or arrive at camp after dark. The central-locking system is part of this Premium package, so locking up is part of everyday use rather than a feature to add later.
The Premium accessory rails have T-slot attachment along the top and dovetail mounting along the sides for compatible carrying accessories. Bags and tools can stay covered in the tub while suitable equipment travels above them.
The lid is rated for 150 kg dynamically while driving and 380 kg statically while parked, subject to the vehicle, tub, reinforcement and mounting limits. Count bars, brackets and other fitted equipment in the load and use the lowest applicable limit. The lid rating does not increase your vehicle's payload.
The 3 mm aluminium treadplate lid and black powder-coated frame give your equipment a rigid cover, with a practical textured finish on top. A correctly fitted lid keeps everyday gear covered and out of direct view while leaving the tub useful for work and trips. Weather protection depends on the complete tub and tailgate sealing; the load bed is not a waterproof storage box.
The Premium package includes the HardLid, accessory rails, central-locking system and interior light. Racks, crossbars, tents and other carrying equipment are separate. If you are adding a compatible BASE Rack platform, our HardLid BASE Rack mounting kit provides the matching mounting arrangement and is sold separately.
Installation needs to account for your tub liner and any existing accessories. Have the lid aligned, sealed and its electrical equipment connected correctly, then check the opening clearance with any load-carrying accessories installed.
