The plate uses certified AW5083 H111 duralumin. You get a high-strength barrier beneath several exposed front components, with lower material weight than a steel plate of the same size and thickness and no red rust starting in the alloy where it is scratched.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

For protection farther back, add the separate ZF 8HP gearbox and Tremec transfer guard for the matching Grenadier or Quartermaster application. Fitting that guard requires two holes to be re-drilled for M10 fasteners. The engine sump guard protects the sump separately and requires the matching gearbox and transfer guard because their mountings link together.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
Yes. Quartermaster 4x4 models from 2024 are listed alongside Grenadier 4x4 models from 2022.
This is the front guard covering the stated front components. The linked sump guard is a separate plate for the engine sump.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
