The Vitara 1.4T is one of the lightest, most eager small SUVs on sale, and this MST Performance cold air intake leans into that fun streak. For 2019-on cars, it replaces the standard intake with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter, adding a keener draw and an audible induction note to the turbocharged 1.4 — a rare, well-engineered upgrade for a car the aftermarket mostly ignores.
Light kerbweight means every improvement in engine character is felt immediately — the Vitara needs no big numbers to be entertaining, just a freer breath. The shielded filter draws away from engine-bay heat, the aluminium pipework replaces the standard plastic run, and the kit installs in the factory position with the supplied hardware.
