For the 2.0 model from 2013-2019, it replaces the standard intake with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter, letting the free-revving four breathe through an engineered path with an audible induction note — a natural first modification for a car already sorted in the corners.
Without a turbo to mask it, the 2.0's intake note comes through clearly once the muffled factory airbox is replaced — more voice as revs build, sharper feel off the line, and a shielded filter that keeps drawing cooler air rather than engine-bay heat. MST tests its systems as complete kits on dyno and road before release, so the character arrives properly finished.
