Fifth-generation Elantras make sound financial sense; this MST Performance cold air intake adds some emotional appeal on top. Covering the Elantra 1.6 (2011-2016) and 1.8 (2010-2016), it replaces the factory intake with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter — an audible induction note, a fresher feel on the throttle, and a bay that looks maintained rather than merely tolerated.
This kit spans the two petrol engines of the era — the 1.6 and the 1.8 — with the years differing slightly by engine, so the table below is your reference. For the later Elantra 1.6 from 2014 on, MST builds a separate system: the 2014-on Elantra kit.
