The G30 5 Series with the 2.0T B48 is quietly capable - and the intake is where most of that quietness comes from. This MST Performance cold air intake system replaces the restrictive standard air box with precision-engineered aluminium pipework, designed to speed airflow into the turbo while cutting turbulence and restriction. The result is a 520i/530i that breathes more freely and actually sounds turbocharged under load. Supplied with all fittings for a direct OEM-replacement install on 2017-on cars.
BMW engineered the G30 for silence, which suits the motorway but hides the engine completely. MST's approach - faster, smoother airflow with minimal restriction, built from top-quality components - gives the four-cylinder turbo a clean intake route and an audible intake note when you work it. At a cruise the car stays civilised; the character only appears when you ask for it. It suits standard cars and tuned ones alike.
Built for the 2.0T B48 petrol engine in the G30-generation 5 Series from 2017 on. It does not fit diesel models, and six-cylinder cars use a different kit - if yours is the 3.0T B58, choose the MST B58 version of this intake. Confirm engine and part number against your car before ordering.

The B48 is the 2.0-litre turbo petrol four in G30 cars such as the 520i and 530i from 2017 on. Check your engine code before ordering - the fitment is engine-specific.
