This MST Performance cold air intake system replaces the restrictive standard air box on the F10 and F11 5 Series (3.0T N55, 2009-2016) with precision-engineered aluminium pipework shaped to reduce restriction and turbulence on the way into the turbo. It arrives with every fitting needed for a direct OEM-replacement install, so nothing about the engine bay needs improvising.
MST design intakes around air speed, low turbulence and minimal restriction, and build their kits with top-quality components. On a motorway car like the F10 the practical difference is character: a cleaner intake path feeding the turbo and a distinctly sharper induction note when you extend the engine, without changing how the car behaves at part throttle. It suits a standard 535i or one that has already been remapped.
This kit is for the 3.0T N55 petrol six in the F10 saloon and F11 Touring, 2009-2016 - not diesel models or the later G30 body. Confirm your engine and build year, and check the part number matches your exact car before ordering. Running the later G30 5 Series with the B58? Use the MST G30 B58 intake kit instead.
