Audi's B9-generation 2.0 TFSI came in two intake configurations, and this MST Performance cold air intake system is the version for cars without a MAF sensor - including Quattro variants. It replaces the restrictive standard air box with precision-engineered aluminium pipework designed for faster, smoother airflow into the turbo, giving the A4 or A5 a cleaner intake route and an induction note the standard car never offers. Four no-MAF applications from 2015 on are covered, with all fittings for a direct OEM-replacement install.
Fitting the wrong configuration is the classic B9 intake mistake, which is why MST split the kits. With the no-MAF version matched to the right car, the engine gets MST's faster-air, lower-turbulence design and the driver gets the response feel and intake note the restrictive standard box hides. Everything turns on one check: does your intake pipe carry a MAF sensor? This kit fits A4 (B9) and A5 2.0 TFSI cars without one, front-wheel drive or Quattro, from 2015 on. If your car has the sensor, use the MST with-MAF version instead. Confirm before ordering - the two layouts are not interchangeable.
