If your 2008-2012 Audi A4 (B8) or A5 (8T) runs the EA888 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI with a MAF sensor, this is the MST Performance intake built for it. The kit replaces the factory arrangement with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable dry filter, waking up an engine that Audi tuned for quietness — and because EA888 generations differ, MST splits its kits by sensor setup so the airflow reading stays accurate.
EA888 engines up to 2012 meter air with a MAF sensor; the Gen 3 that followed does not. Fitting the wrong intake risks poor running, so MST builds a dedicated version for each. This kit is the with-MAF one. Got a 2012-2015 car without the MAF sensor? You need the Gen 3 no-MAF version instead.

Broadly, EA888 Gen 1 and Gen 2 engines (2008-2012) use one and Gen 3 (2012-2015) does not, but 2012 is a crossover year. Check the intake tract for the sensor housing or ask us to confirm from your registration.
Yes — the A5 (8T) 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI with MAF sensor from 2008-2012 uses the same kit as the B8 A4.
It is a direct swap for the standard intake with mounting hardware and instructions in the box. If you are unsure, have a professional fitter do it.
