Leaf-spring fitting hardware needs to suit the assembly it clamps. The OME OMEU82 provides the specified U-bolt profile and length for its matched axle and spring arrangement.

The OMEU82 has a square profile, 200 mm leg length and 80 mm leg-centre spacing, with M14 x 1.5 threads and a 50 mm threaded length. Those dimensions matter because the axle shape and spring-pack height decide which U-bolt fits. The current OME application specifies it with EL130R / EL131R leaf springs.
Fit the required U-bolts with the specified hardware and tightening procedure. The correct clamp connection is part of the suspension installation; a longer bolt is not automatically a suitable substitute.
