The rear differential rides below axle height and tracks straight down the middle of every rut - it takes the hits nothing else can dodge. This Almont rear differential skid plate for the Ford Ranger T6PX2 TDCi and Mazda BT-50 shields the housing with a 5 kg plate of 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, letting the axle slide across rock steps and ridges instead of battering the casing. Five kilos of plate against a cracked diff housing is not a difficult sum.
One part covers the PX2 Ranger and its BT-50 sibling. Almont fixes some rear differential plates with a bracket that takes TIG weld spots on the housing rather than a plain bolt-on fit - confirm the fitting method with us before booking installation, and plan a professional fitter if welding is involved. Not compatible with diff-drop kits or modified driveline mounts. Pair it with the gearbox and transfer plate and front plate for the full driveline.
