Longer stretches between fuel stops mean more freedom over where the day takes you. The LongRanger TR98 replaces the Raptor’s 80-litre petrol tank with a 140-litre tank in the original underbody position, keeping the load bed free for the trip.
That is 60 litres of additional capacity—a 75% increase. The gain is fuel carried, not a fixed mileage promise; the range you see depends on consumption, terrain and load.

The TR98 fits in the original under-vehicle tank position on the 2022+ Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 petrol. Its 2 mm aluminised steel construction and internal baffling provide a robust touring tank, with baffling helping control fuel movement around the pick-up.
The kit includes the additional carbon-canister equipment required by its installation. This is extra petrol storage for the trip; it leaves the engine’s high-pressure pump and injectors doing their existing jobs.
Use your own fuel economy to judge the benefit. These examples use UK imperial mpg and nominal full capacity before a reserve.

The figures are arithmetic illustrations rounded to the nearest mile, not road-test results. For your own estimate, divide the litres you plan to use by 4.54609 and multiply by your UK mpg. Leave out your chosen reserve and allow for towing, terrain, load and changing conditions.
The kit includes the replacement tank, mounting and fitting hardware, additional carbon-canister equipment, float-arm components and instructions. The original filler, sender and pick-up arrangement is reused or adapted as directed.
Allow approximately three hours as the manufacturer’s fitting guide. The job includes fuel and vapour connections, mounting work and drilling specified mounting holes, so use a professional fuel-system installer. Labour, fuel and an underbody guard are separate. Match any new guard to the exact tank shape and mounting arrangement.
No exhaust modification is required with the specified standard exhaust arrangement. The tank is designed to sit at the original tank bash-plate height. An aftermarket exhaust, protection or suspension change needs its own clearance check.
The gauge remains functional, but the larger tank changes its behaviour. It can stay on full longer, and the upper and lower portions do not represent equal fuel volumes. Half a gauge does not mean half of 140 litres.
The original distance-to-empty calculation no longer works as intended. Keep records of distance and litres used to learn your Raptor’s consumption with the new tank, and retain a reserve when choosing fuel stops.
The replacement tank adds 31.8 kg. Include the additional petrol too, alongside passengers, luggage and accessories. The tank uses available payload and does not raise vehicle or axle limits.
The UK price includes VAT, customs charges and supplier shipping. Fitting is separate; we can provide delivery timing and any address-specific arrangements. Non-UK orders need a quote.
LongRanger manufactured products carry a three-year warranty. Third-party components have their own terms, so keep the invoice and fitting information with the vehicle.

Yes. TR98 is a replacement petrol tank in the original under-vehicle position, not an auxiliary tank needing a separate transfer system.
The next-generation Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 petrol from May 2022. It is not the earlier or diesel-Raptor tank.
