Open the bonnet to something worth looking at, while keeping the standard inlet.
The Fabulous Fabrications twin airbox gives the engine bay a focal point: a black TIG-welded alloy housing, clear branded lid and separate intake paths for the two turbos. It is the airbox upgrade for the Raptor owner who wants that finish while keeping the standard inlet arrangement.
The assembly includes its filter arrangement and replacement washer filler neck. A snorkel and full alloy washer bottle belong to the separate snorkel package; they are not part of this standard-inlet purchase.
The 6 mm Perspex lid carries engraved Fabulous branding. A 4.5 mm nitrile gasket and alloy pressure plate form the sealing arrangement, with a Dulux Mannex Black powdercoat finish on the housing.
The standard Unifilter arrangement provides 51% more filtered surface area. Our £100 Ramair pleated-filter upgrade is available as an alternative. The clear lid gives you a convenient view of the filters, while proper servicing still requires opening the box.
The assembly includes the airbox, filter arrangement, clear lid, gasket and pressure plate, fitting components, replacement washer-bottle filler neck and fitting guide. It accommodates the factory inlet-air-temperature sensor and mounting arrangement.
The replacement filler neck belongs to this standard-inlet version. The complete alloy washer bottle and snorkel are part of the separate snorkel package.

The standard option uses serviceable Unifilter foam elements. Our Ramair upgrade adds waterproof pleated filters that do not retain water, for £100 more. For wet-weather use, we would choose Ramair for its waterproof pleated elements that do not hold water.
The filter upgrade changes the elements; the airbox and the rest of your chosen package stay the same. Waterproof filters do not increase the vehicle’s wading limit.
Allow around 2½ hours for fitting. Allow for transferring the temperature sensor, using the factory mounting arrangement, fitting the new washer filler and checking access around the completed airbox. Your installer’s time and price depend on the truck.
PPD bonnet struts are incompatible. Other aftermarket bonnet struts need their own clearance check, and North American vehicles require modifications. These are worth establishing before ordering so the engine-bay changes work together.
If a snorkel is already fitted or firmly in your plan, choose the dedicated airbox-and-snorkel arrangement for that connection. This is the standard-inlet version.
Standard Unifilter foam elements are serviceable. Clean, dry and oil them using the specified Unifilter procedure; if water is used, let them dry completely before oiling.
The Ramair upgrade uses pleated elements. Follow the care instructions supplied for those filters rather than applying the Unifilter foam-oiling procedure.
After dusty trips, inspect the filters and seals more frequently. On reassembly, seat the filters, gasket and lid correctly and inspect the connections disturbed during servicing. Discuss any effect on vehicle warranty with the provider of that cover.
For the standard Unifilter setup, the matching Fabulous replacement filters come as a pair of pre-oiled foam pods with 3.5-inch clamp-on inlets and 170 mm height. A prepared spare pair lets you swap elements while the other pair is cleaned and dried.
That Unifilter replacement pair is sold separately. Choose spares to match the filter option fitted in your airbox.
