The rear differential is the lowest fixed point at the back of a Ranger, first to meet every rock shelf and rut the axle drops into. This Almont rear differential skid plate covers the Ford Ranger PX4 T8 V6 3.0 and 2.0 TDCi from 2023 and the PX4 Hybrid Stormtrak from 2025 with 5 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 8 mm HeavyDuty grade.
This one is different from the bolt-on plates: Almont states installation needs TIG weld spots to fix the bracket onto the differential housing, so book a fitter with TIG equipment rather than planning a driveway job. Pair it with the PX4 front skid plate, or the Stormtrak front plate on the hybrid.
