Give your Ranger a raised air intake for the dusty tracks and wet weather that come with travelling further. The Safari SS987HPD ARMAX snorkel routes air from a higher intake position into the factory air cleaner, with a 4-inch water-separating air ram and a durable Australian-made body.

Moving the intake higher helps reduce exposure to the dust and splash around a lower intake. The air ram separates rainwater from the incoming air stream before it reaches the snorkel body. Your existing air filter still handles engine filtration, so normal filter inspection remains part of looking after the vehicle.
The ARMAX design gives extra airflow capacity for suitable performance modifications, while retaining the raised-intake function. Its 4-inch air ram and vehicle-specific ducting feed the stock air cleaner. More available airflow is useful in a correctly matched setup; it is not a promise of a particular power gain from the snorkel alone.
UV-stable, cross-linked polyethylene gives the snorkel body durability in sun and outdoor exposure. Stainless steel hardware and the supplied connection hose secure the system to the vehicle and air cleaner. The kit includes the model-specific mounting parts, templates and installation guidance.
