When a canopy, drawers and equipment add a constant 600 kg at the rear, spring choice matters every time you drive. This Old Man Emu kit pairs load-matched springs with Nitrocharger dampers, supporting the weight of your setup while controlling suspension movement.

The springs support your vehicle and the equipment you carry. The shocks control that movement, helping the vehicle settle after a bump instead of continuing to bounce. Nitrocharger damping is developed for the vehicle and its intended load, with matched springs and shocks working together.
With the right springs for your regular load, the shocks can keep your vehicle more settled over rough roads. You get a more comfortable drive as well as the extra ground clearance.
The 600 kg constant rear load specification refers to additional weight that remains at the rear in normal use, such as permanently fitted storage and equipment. Choose it for that regular load. Occasional holiday luggage alone is not a reason to fit heavy constant-load springs: a spring selected for much more weight than you carry can make the unloaded ride firmer.
The package includes front coils, two front and two rear dampers, two rear leaf springs, a greasable shackle kit, two bush kits, four U-bolts, a driveline spacer kit and a bump-stop adapter kit.
Have the kit installed and aligned with your normal equipment load taken into account. The 40 mm lift is approximate; actual ride height depends on the vehicle, accessories and load. Check brake-line, driveline and tyre clearances as part of the installation, then follow the fitting instructions for fastener checks and ongoing care.

No. This is a suspension kit, not a GVM or axle-rating upgrade. Your vehicle, axle and tyre limits still apply.
The result depends on matching the spring specification to your usual load. Heavy constant-load springs can feel firm when the equipment they are designed to support is removed.
The approximate lift is 40 mm. Actual ride height depends on the starting suspension height, equipment and load, so have it set up and aligned with your normal equipment on board.
