Compared with leaving the Ranger tub open or using a basic soft tonneau, this ABS hard lid adds a structured SportLid design, two T-slot channels, gas-strut support and a 75 kg dynamic load rating for suitable top loads.
An open Ranger tub is flexible, but it can leave gear loose, visible and harder to organise between jobs, campsites and everyday stops. The ARB SportLid gives the load bed a cleaner hard-cover setup while keeping rear access simple through a lift-up lid.
The useful difference is in the combination of vehicle-specific SportLid fitment, ABS construction, two T-slot channels and published load guidance. Wildtrak setups need extra care. One ARB route calls for factory styling hoop removal and additional rails, while another fitting note excludes Wildtrak.
