This Almont fuel tank skid plate fits the Mitsubishi L200 2.4 DID 2015-19, the 2.3 DID from 2020 and the Fiat Fullback 2.4 JTD, putting 9 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 6 mm SportDuty grade between the tank and the ground. Stones and dragged crests mark aluminium plate instead of the one part that cannot take a puncture.
A pickup tank hangs where crests drag and stones ricochet, and unlike bodywork it has no give. Almont cuts this plate to the L200 floorpan, mounts it to the original chassis holes with steel brackets and pre-installed bolts, and designs the mounts to soak up impacts and vibration. Pair it with the front skid plate and the gearbox and transfer plate for nose-to-tank cover.
