Enjoy more of the straight-six when you put your foot down. This Milltek GPF-bypass exhaust gives the 2022+ LCI X3 M and X4 M a more prominent soundtrack, with twin 80 mm pipework and valved rear sections. Four large tips complete the look, with five finishes to suit the car. This is the GPF-bypass system for motorsport use.

The S58 is a large part of what makes an X3 M or X4 M special. This system gives its exhaust note more presence, changing the GPF sections as well as the rear exhaust. The valved links and rear silencer are part of that complete layout. For a car retaining its factory filters, the separate compatible OPF-back system is the sound-upgrade choice.
Polished tips give a bright contrast against the diffuser, while black keeps the rear darker. Brushed titanium has a softer metal finish; burnt titanium adds colour. Carbon makes the material detail more visible. The extra spend on a finish changes the tips, with the same stainless exhaust configuration beneath the car.

This GPF-bypass exhaust needs a supporting engine-management setup as part of the installation. Have the pipework, valved links and all four tips aligned together. It is for the 2022+ LCI GPF-equipped X3 M / X4 M; pre-LCI and non-GPF cars use their own systems.

The tip material or finish changes; the underlying exhaust configuration stays the same. Brushed and burnt titanium options are titanium tips on a stainless exhaust, while carbon is the tip finish rather than the material of the complete system.
Let the exhaust cool before cleaning. Wash road salt and dirt from the tips regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for their finish. Have any new rattle checked for loose fittings or contact with the bodywork.
