Build the front exhaust on your 2004-2008 RAM 1500 around these Kooks long tube headers. The 1-3/4" primaries lead into 2-1/2" outlets for the matching Kooks Y-pipe, with an O2 extension harness included.

Keep the generation and collector size matched

These are the early 5.7-litre HEMI truck headers. The 2-1/2" outlets need the corresponding Kooks Y-pipe rather than a later-generation 3" collector arrangement.

Plan the header and Y-pipe together

The Y-pipe is a separate required component and joins the front conversion to the rear exhaust. Choosing both parts together gives your installer the matched exhaust route.

Fitting your exhaust

The dipstick is refitted with the supplied spacer and the original nut and bolt. Keep that hardware for installation.
