The Apex Chassis KIT385 ProLock Steering Kit is the definitive answer to death wobble on a 2014-onwards Ram 2500 or 3500 4WD. These trucks combine a heavy solid front axle with serious towing loads, and the factory tie rod and drag link flex under exactly the conditions where you most need control. This kit replaces the linkage with massive DOM steel assemblies, oversized forged ends, set-screw jam nuts, Ninja lock washers and ProLock washers - plus the TR203 bracket that keeps the steering damper in its factory location. It is a genuine Apex Chassis part, imported to the UK.
The ProLock system - keyway washers machined into the tie rod end threads plus jam nuts with integrated set screws - mechanically prevents the rods rotating out of adjustment. The included TR203 bracket mounts the steering damper in its original position, so the truck keeps factory-style damping on top of the stronger linkage. Compared with another set of factory parts, this is the difference between re-treating symptoms and removing the cause.
Confirm your truck's year and model before ordering - fitment shown is manufacturer reference. If you run a dual steering stabiliser, check it against the oversized components first: the Rough Country dual setup is not compatible, and others may need modification. Plan a full alignment after installation and set the ProLock hardware to spec so the locking system holds the geometry.
