A heavy tailgate is awkward when your hands are already full. The ARB Tailgate Assist for the Ranger Mk7 Double Cab 2019-2022 controls the lowering movement and helps with the lift back up, making access to the load bed easier.

The damping strut slows the opening movement rather than allowing the tailgate to drop freely. It makes loading and unloading feel more manageable when fitted and operating as intended.
A gas-assisted traction strut on the other side helps raise the tailgate. The paired damping and lifting functions were developed with Stabilus, giving each strut a different job in everyday tailgate use.
