Supra A90 and Z4 M40i owners share the same open secret: the B58 straight six is mighty, and its standard air box mutes half the experience. This MST Performance cold air intake system replaces it with a black powder-coated 4-inch inlet pipe and heat shield, a 4-inch red dry pleated filter and a silicone joiner, built to deliver cold air straight to the turbocharger. The design targets improved throttle response and real induction presence on both cars - Z4 M40i from 2018, Supra 3.0 from 2019 - with a full fitting kit and step-by-step instructions in the box.
The Supra and Z4 M40i share their platform and engine, so MST engineered one kit for both. The heat shield separates the filter from engine-bay heat while the 4-inch pipework feeds the turbo cold air, and the dry pleated filter is easy to maintain between services. MST state the kit delivers on standard vehicles and already-tuned cars alike - relevant on a platform this widely modified.
Covers the B58-engined pair only: Z4 M40i (G29) from 2018 and Supra A90/A91 3.0 from 2019. Four-cylinder Z4s and the 2.0 Supra use a different engine and are not covered - confirm your model and the part number before ordering, and plan the install with the supplied step-by-step instructions.
