A 535i is meant to feel effortless, and the intake is an easy place to give the N55 straight six back some voice. This MST Performance cold air intake system replaces the restrictive standard air box on the F10 and F11 5 Series (3.0T N55, 2009-2016) with precision-engineered aluminium pipework shaped to reduce restriction and turbulence on the way into the turbo. It arrives with every fitting needed for a direct OEM-replacement install, so nothing about the engine bay needs improvising.
MST design intakes around air speed, low turbulence and minimal restriction, and build their kits with top-quality components. On a motorway car like the F10 the practical difference is character: a cleaner intake path feeding the turbo and a distinctly sharper induction note when you extend the engine, without changing how the car behaves at part throttle. It suits a standard 535i or one that has already been remapped.
This kit is for the 3.0T N55 petrol six in the F10 saloon and F11 Touring, 2009-2016 - not diesel models or the later G30 body. Confirm your engine and build year, and check the part number matches your exact car before ordering. Running the later G30 5 Series with the B58? Use the MST G30 B58 intake kit instead.
