The nose of the BAW 212 T01 leads every climb, and it is the first panel to meet a rock crest, a bank or flying gravel. This Almont front skid plate covers that leading edge in 8mm certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, one plate for both the 2.0T GDI petrol and the 2.0T diesel, weighing 10 kg and bolting to the original chassis points with the supplied steel brackets. It is also one of the cleverer plates in the range: Almont makes it in two parts precisely so the front section can come off on its own when the engine needs a service.
Almont builds this guard as a two-part assembly so the first front section can be removed to change the oil filter, keeping routine servicing simple with the rest of the plate still on the truck.
