A holed fuel tank ends a trip on the spot, and the tank on the BAW 212 T01 diesel sits in the debris path of every rocky climb and rutted descent. This Almont fuel tank skid plate is a substantial piece of protection: 16 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 6mm SportDuty cut, shaped around the diesel model's tank so stones, ledges and drag-overs meet flat alloy instead of the tank skin. Like the rest of the range it bolts to the original chassis holes with steel brackets and pre-installed bolts, and it carries Almont's 3-year warranty against cracking.
