The Nostrum Volkswagen Audi EA113 2.0 TFSI High Flow DI Injectors are the direct injector upgrade for the older, cast-iron-block EA113 2.0 TFSI, the engine in the Mk5 Golf GTI, the Mk6 Golf R, the early Jetta and Passat, the 8P A3, the B7 A4 and the TTS. These flow 40% more than the stock Mk6 Golf R HDEV1 injector at 1484 cc/min at 100 bar, which is what gives a mapped EA113 the extra volume it needs once boost or ethanol pushes the standard injector to its ceiling. They are pre-assembled and tested, built to the HDEV1 injector outline with the large spigot o-ring, and they arrive with a custom o-ring and backing ring package, a harness adapter and an injector spacer, so the awkward parts of the swap are covered rather than sourced separately.
One detail decides whether this upgrade does what you want. The factory rail relieves at 130 bar, and these injectors need that relief changed to run above it. Nostrum rates them to a maximum recommended 180 bar, so if the calibration plan commands pressure past the standard relief point, that change is part of the job.
The EA113 and EA888 look close on paper and share nothing useful in the fuel system. On a Mk6 GTI or a B8 Audi, the EA888 Gen 1 and Gen 2 injectors are the correct set. The rest of the range sits in the Fuel collection.
