The Nostrum Volkswagen Audi 2.0 TFSI EA888 CCTA/CBFA Standard Bore High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit is the first fuelling upgrade most tuned EA888 Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars actually need. On a Jetta, Passat, Tiguan, CC or Eos, or an Audi A3, A4, A5, Q3, Q5 or TT carrying the CCTA or CBFA engine code, the cam-driven high pressure pump gives up first on a Stage 2 map or an ethanol blend: rail pressure sags at the top of the run and the calibrator pulls timing and boost back to protect it. This pump moves 36% more fuel than the factory unit, runs a larger piston diameter in a fully welded stainless steel body, and is E85 compatible, so it stops deciding how far a map can go. It arrives as a complete kit with the mounting flange, harness adapter and installation guide.
The standard pump was sized for a standard engine on petrol. Add boost, then add ethanol, which needs roughly a third more volume for the same mixture, and it sits flat out for the whole run with nothing in reserve. The extra 36% is what lets the calibration keep commanding rail pressure instead of trimming the engine back.
Standard Bore suits a stock-turbo car on petrol or ethanol and covers the whole CCTA and CBFA range. The Big Bore kit is the Mk6 GTI-specific step above it. On a Rest of World EA888 running CCZA or CCZB, the EA888 ROW pump is the one that bolts up.
Fitment here is decided by the engine code on the block rather than the badge on the boot, so confirm CCTA or CBFA first. A custom tune is required. Check the model and year against the table below, and send Hoonies the details on imported or already-modified cars before ordering.

Yes. Nostrum is clear that a custom tune is required. The pump adds capacity; the calibration turns that capacity into fuelling the engine can use.
It is E85 compatible and the 36% extra flow makes ethanol workable on a standard turbo. Injectors and the low pressure side need to keep up too.
