The entry engine in the B9 A4 deserves better than anonymous motoring. This MST Performance cold air intake for the 1.4 TFSI (2016 on) swaps the factory setup for aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter, giving the small turbo four a livelier feel and an audible induction note. The fitment table also shows the matching A5 1.4 TFSI application, so both body styles are covered by the same part.

No — the 2.0 has its own kits, split by whether the engine uses a MAF sensor. This version is engineered for the 1.4 TFSI.
The fitment table includes the A5 1.4 TFSI from 2016 on. If you are unsure how your A5 is labelled, send us the registration and we will confirm.
Effectively none — the washable filter is cleaned around every 20,000 km and replaced around 60,000 km, replacing the cycle of disposable paper elements.
