A quick rinse can make the journey home much more pleasant. The ONTAP Original gives you pressurised water beside your vehicle, ready to wash sandy feet, muddy equipment or the dog after a walk. Fill the 22-litre tank, plug the supplied lead into a suitable 12V socket and turn on the pump.

The built-in pump, coiled hose and seven-function spray gun make it easy to choose a shower or rinse pattern for the job. The tank gives up to five minutes of use on the shower setting; the selected spray pattern affects how long the water lasts.
The pump has a nominal 12L/min rating, while the supplied hose arrangement delivers approximately 4.4L/min. That explains why a 22-litre fill can last around five minutes: pump rating and flow at the handpiece are different figures.
The shower comes with the pump, hose, spray gun, tap, bung, detachable 4m cigarette-plug power lead and dust cap. Maximum electrical draw is 4.5A. Its UV-stabilised HDPE tank measures 179mm wide x 348mm long x 460mm high, useful measurements when choosing a storage position or holder.
The tank fits many standard 20L jerry-can holders, but measure the actual holder before buying. Keep the shower upright while in use and open the breather as instructed.
The unit uses the water you put into it. It has no electric water heater; sunshine can warm the stored water, but the temperature depends on the conditions. Use water at a comfortable temperature and choose a safe place to shower or rinse.
The tank is food-grade, but the supplied coiled hose is not. Do not drink directly from the shower assembly. Releasing the handpiece stops the water flow, but the pump has no automatic pressure switch: turn the pump off after use.
This is the black version. The green ONTAP Original offers the same 22L, 12V shower arrangement in the other colour. For privacy at camp, a suitably mounted ARB vehicle-mounted ensuite is a useful separate accessory.
