The ARB4159A guy ropes use aluminium carabiners for convenient attachment, with spring tensioners that help keep the ropes taut as conditions change. Reflective sections make them easier to see around camp after dark.

The heavy-duty spring absorbs some movement at the peg while the aluminium toggle adjusts tension. Set the awning and anchors up to their instructions; a spring tensioner does not create a wind-speed rating or remove the need to pack the awning away in unsuitable weather.
The set contains two ropes, each weighing 108 g. The carabiner has a 50 kg component rating; that is not a rating for the complete awning or anchoring arrangement.
