Connect APEX 3/8 in outside-diameter braided hose to a female 1/4 NPT air fitting. This X02-11-015 version includes an aluminium cover nut, giving you a defined hose-end option when choosing the parts for your installation.

The fitting is suitable for high-temperature applications such as air compressors. The hose and every other connection still need the correct temperature and pressure rating for the actual route; the aluminium nut does not establish a rating for the whole hose assembly.
Use the matching APEX braided hose. At the tyre end, the female 1/4 NPT dual-flow chuck is a matching threaded option. Compressor hot-side plumbing needs its own correctly rated hose and connections.
