Look after the transfer case beneath your diesel Wrangler JL with Almont's 6 mm duralumin guard. Separate short- and long-body versions let you match the plate to your Jeep while adding a substantial barrier against rough-ground contact.
The short-body PDJJLCC6 guard weighs 7.5 kg. The long-body option is displayed as PDJJLCL6 and supplied under native SKU PDJJLLCL6; it weighs 8 kg. These are body-length choices for the diesel application, rather than alternatives for the 4xe.
This is certified AW5083 H111 duralumin: a high-strength aluminium alloy that keeps material weight below steel of the same size and thickness. You get a substantial barrier beneath the vehicle, and a scratch in the plate does not turn into red rust. It is still worth keeping the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware clean, especially after winter salt or muddy trips.

The separate JL gearbox guard protects the gearbox on its stated petrol/diesel application. The JL front guard adds protection beneath the radiators, steering and front differential; select its bumper version.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
Choose the PDJJLCL6 option for the 5-door long body. Its supplied SKU is PDJJLLCL6.
No. The five-door 4xe uses its own separate transfer guard; this product is diesel-only.
The protection plate, matching steel mounting supports, pre-installed fixings, certificate and instruction manual, and Almont sticker. Other guards linked on this page are separate purchases.
The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
