Your 4xe still relies on its petrol tank when the road home is a long way off. This Almont guard puts 6 mm duralumin beneath the original tank on your long-wheelbase Wrangler, giving you more peace of mind over rocks, deep ruts and rough ground. It is made specifically for the five-door JL 4xe, rather than asking you to make a general-purpose plate fit.

The tank deserves attention just as much as the hybrid equipment around it. A dedicated guard gives the original fuel tank a substantial barrier against underbody contact, so you can take your Jeep away with more confidence about what is underneath. The 6 mm SportDuty plate weighs 15 kg.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

This is the long-wheelbase, five-door 4xe version. It fits the original fuel tank; a larger-capacity replacement tank is incompatible.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
The 4xe uses petrol as well as electric power. This guard protects its original fuel tank when you take the Jeep onto rough ground.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
