Underside damage on a JK starts at the front: rock steps, ruts and buried stumps arrive there first, and right behind the bumper sit the radiators, the steering and the front differential. This Almont plate bolts 8mm of EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin across that area on the Wrangler JK 2007-2017 and J8, so ground contact spends itself on plate. Twelve bumper-matched versions are offered, so the decision is simply the bumper.
