A well-loved Transporter, Multivan or California is worth looking after underneath. This Almont guard protects the original fuel tank on the stated AdBlue-equipped T6 and T6.1 applications, with 6 mm certified duralumin for rough pitches and access roads. The AdBlue tank has a separate matching guard.

AdBlue-equipped vans use a different fuel-tank guard from vans without AdBlue. This 15 kg SportDuty plate protects the original fuel tank and works with the separate AdBlue guards: PDWT6D36 for Transporter T6 2015-2019, and PDWT6D46 for Multivan / California T6.1 2020-2024. Each AdBlue guard needs this fuel guard fitted first.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
