A loaded 200 Series is a great vehicle for a long trip. This pair of 8 mm Almont guards adds protection around the rear shocks on the VDJ200 application with the rear differential locker, helping you look after suspension components on rough ground.

The two-guard kit weighs 7 kg and uses Almont's 8 mm HeavyDuty duralumin. It adds dedicated shock protection alongside the separate centre and tank guards, giving you a way to protect components beyond the middle of the vehicle.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength protection with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, making it a worthwhile addition to a vehicle you want to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

The VDJ200 gearbox and transfer guard and VDJ200 fuel tank guard protect other areas underneath your Land Cruiser. You will also need the matching front guard to fit the gearbox and transfer guard, as the two share their mounts.
Wash off mud and road salt after use. Almont recommends pressure washing at least annually, or two or three times a year for regular muddy or salty use, and checking bolt tightness annually. Follow the fitting instructions when refitting a guard after maintenance.
This set is for the VDJ200 application with the rear differential locker. That is part of the fitment, so match your axle configuration before choosing it.
The complete two-guard kit weighs 7 kg. Its installation includes TIG spot welding of the support to the suspension link.
The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
