A Tundra used for work and travel is worth looking after underneath. This Almont 6 mm duralumin guard protects the original fuel tank on the XK50 generation from 2007, giving you a substantial barrier against rough-ground contact.

The certified AW5083 H111 plate protects the tank beneath the vehicle. Its high-strength alloy construction keeps material weight below steel of equal size and thickness, and scratches in the plate will not start red rust.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
