Rocks and ruts are easier to enjoy when the transmission beneath your Hilux has proper protection. This Almont duralumin guard covers the manual gearbox, transfer case and central differential on the Revo application, with 6 mm and 8 mm choices.
Choose the 6 mm PDTHLRB6 at 10.5 kg for lighter off-road use. For a heavier truck or more demanding rocky travel, we recommend the 8 mm PDTHLRB8 at 12.5 kg. The difference is the plate thickness and weight, with certified AW5083 H111 alloy in both.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

Automatic Revos use the separate automatic transmission guard. For AdBlue protection, choose the optional year-matched AdBlue guard: PDTHLRD26 covers 2016-2021 and PDTHLRD36 covers 2022 onwards.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
