This 13.5 kg SportDuty guard protects the original tank across those Sprinter applications. Tank protection is worth adding to a camper that regularly leaves smooth roads: it gives another important component its own barrier against rocks and underbody contact.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

For a W906 4x4 from 2006-2018 or W907 4x4 built July 2019-June 2021, add the separate gearbox and transfer guard. That transmission guard requires the matching front guard for the same generation and build period, sold separately. For a single-rear-wheel van within its application, we also sell the separate rear differential guard.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
