You can enjoy your Pajero's off-road ability more when its gearbox and transfer case have proper protection underneath. This Almont guard covers both components in certified duralumin, with a choice of 6 mm SportDuty or 8 mm HeavyDuty for anything from lighter lane use to long, loaded trips over rough ground.
This guard fits manual and automatic V60-V70 models, and manual V80-V87 and V90-V97 models. With the right version fitted, you can enjoy rougher tracks knowing there is a purpose-made barrier beneath the gearbox and transfer case.
SportDuty is 6 mm at 12.6 kg; HeavyDuty is 8 mm at 15.6 kg. Both choices use our SKU PDM860B. The thickness-specific manufacturer references are PDM860B6 and PDM860B8 respectively, so select the thickness you want.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

For a V80-V87 or V90-V97 automatic from 2010 onwards with a diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP), choose our automatic gearbox and transfer guard instead. The Pajero front guard protects the cooling, engine and steering area separately.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
Yes, on V60-V70 models. V80-V87 and V90-V97 models need a manual gearbox for this guard. For a 2010-onwards automatic V80-V87 or V90-V97 with DPF/FAP, choose our separate automatic guard.
We would choose 6 mm SportDuty for lighter off-road use, and 8 mm HeavyDuty for a heavily equipped Pajero or more demanding trips over rocks and rough ground.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
