The gearbox and transfer case make a lot of your Pajero's off-road capability possible. These duralumin plates put a substantial guard beneath them, helping you worry less about contact underneath and enjoy the route ahead. Choose 6 mm or 8 mm for the listed automatic-transmission Pajero applications from 2010 onwards equipped with a diesel particulate filter.
Both thicknesses fit automatic Pajero models from 2010 onwards equipped with DPF/FAP. Choose SportDuty 6 mm for a lighter plate, or HeavyDuty 8 mm for heavier vehicles and more demanding trips.

Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin puts a strong guard beneath the transmission with less weight than steel of the same size and thickness. These are expensive components to leave exposed to contact from below. It's a worthwhile way to protect them while keeping the extra weight under your vehicle down.
The duralumin plate won't rust where its surface gets scratched. Its natural oxide layer helps resist corrosion, giving you a durable guard for equipment you rely on every time you drive. It's reassurance that lasts beyond the first muddy weekend.
We'd choose 6 mm SportDuty for recreational off-roading and overlanding where keeping added weight down matters. For heavier vehicles and demanding long-distance trips, we'd recommend 8 mm HeavyDuty. The option table shows the weight of each version.

The plate bolts into your vehicle's original holes and threads using the supplied steel supports and fixings, with no need to drill new mounting holes. The certificate/instruction manual is included to guide the installation. Raised suspension is compatible when the original mounting points remain in place.
The plate needs the original chassis, frame, axle and suspension-stay anchors, transmission mounts and stabiliser-bar supports. Body lifts and diff-drop kits change that relationship and are incompatible.

It fits the V80/V87 from 2010-2015 and the V90/V97 from 2016-2021, with an automatic gearbox and a diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP).
For recreational off-roading and overlanding, we'd choose the lighter 6 mm SportDuty plate. We'd recommend 8 mm HeavyDuty for heavier vehicles and demanding long-distance trips. Both use the same certified alloy; the option table gives the weight for your exact version.
Your skid plate comes with matching steel mounting supports, pre-installed fixings, a certificate and instruction manual, and an Almont sticker.
Give the plate a pressure wash once a year, or two or three times a year if you use it in muddy or salty conditions. Check the fixings for tightness annually as well. Follow the supplied instructions when refitting it after maintenance.
Almont's three-year warranty covers cracking of the protection itself. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
