Whether your L200 earns its keep on a farm or takes you away at the weekend, rough ground puts its front underside in the firing line. This Almont guard protects the radiators, engine and front differential with certified duralumin, giving you a choice of 6 mm SportDuty or 8 mm HeavyDuty to suit the work you ask of your truck.
Ruts, loose stone and uneven entrances are part of life for a working pickup. A purpose-made front guard gives the important components underneath a barrier against that contact. For an L200 carrying equipment regularly or heading onto tougher tracks, we would choose the 8 mm version; 6 mm is the lighter option for less demanding use.
PDML2A6 is 6 mm SportDuty. PDML2A8 is 8 mm HeavyDuty. Those complete codes are also the names shown in the Front Type selector.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
Choose PDML2A8 for 8 mm HeavyDuty. PDML2A6 is the 6 mm SportDuty version.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
