A 90-series Land Cruiser is a great way to get out onto rough ground. This Almont guard protects the gearbox and centre transfer/differential area, with separate three- and five-door versions in 6 mm or 8 mm duralumin. It mounts with the matching front guard to give the transmission proper protection underneath.
The three-door and five-door vehicles need different shapes. SportDuty weighs 11 kg for the three-door and 13 kg for the five-door; HeavyDuty weighs 13 kg and 14.6 kg respectively. That gives you a clear choice between the lighter 6 mm guard and the thicker 8 mm version for a heavily equipped truck or more demanding trip.
Choose body length first, then duty. Our offered three-door 8 mm SKU is PDT09B8. The option table lists all four versions and their weights.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

The matching front guard is required because the mountings link. Fit the front guard first or install both guards together.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
