The certified AW5083 H111 plate protects several exposed components at the front of the vehicle. It is a practical investment for a Land Cruiser you intend to keep, with high-strength alloy that will not develop red rust where it is scratched.
This is certified AW5083 H111 duralumin: a high-strength aluminium alloy that keeps material weight below steel of the same size and thickness. You get a substantial barrier beneath the vehicle, and a scratch in the plate does not turn into red rust. It is still worth keeping the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware clean, especially after winter salt or muddy trips.

For the supported Australian-type bumper, use the separate Australian-bumper guard. The 80/105 gearbox and transfer guard adds protection on its stated HZJ105 application; follow its fitting instructions.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
This version is for the original bumper; an aftermarket bumper needs a guard matched to its arrangement.
The fitting shape is matched to the bumper application. Choose by the fitted bumper, rather than by the fact that both plates are 8 mm.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
